Music has been my life since I was 10 years old
I picked up my first guitar — and started singing — at just 10 years old, and never looked back. All through school I threw myself into music wherever I could find it: playing in rock bands, singing in the school choir, taking the lead in school musicals, and training formally as a vocalist along the way.
That early passion led me to NUI Maynooth, where I earned both a degree and a Master's in Music Technology, graduating with First Class Honours in each.
From the classroom to the stage
Not long after finishing my studies, I started teaching — first at Clive's Easylearn Pop Music School, then at Waterford Music Centre. From there, I went independent, building up a loyal client base and a reputation for lessons that are structured, encouraging, and genuinely enjoyable. Every year I host a (completely optional!) Christmas concert where my students get to show family and friends just how far they've come.
Alongside teaching, I've stayed active as a performing and recording musician:

I'm also a healthcare musician, working with Waterford Healing Arts and Iontas, bringing music into healthcare settings for therapeutic purposes — work that's taught me just as much about the power of music as any stage ever has.
